So I have some scent profiles I love that have poor performance (Tom Ford Neroli Portofino comes to mind). I'll likely always have a bottle on my shelf because it's one of my favorite scent profiles. I value the scent profile even with the poor performance so I'll pay for it.”
2/5 Synthetic / harshValue“We can all regard LV perfumes as overpriced, exorbitant, overhyped, ultra-consumerist icons. But to call them synthetic is certainly a choice. All LV perfumes are made by Jacques Belletrud, who is famous for being Issey Miyake's first perfumer and is renowned as a master of the craft. You are entitled to your own impressions, but this is certainly an unusual take. If you like Neroli Portofino, you could try Sun Song. I have never heard good feedback about these baby LV bottles. They don't have atomizers and require dabbing, which is never a good way to apply an EDP.”
5/5 Unique“This happens a lot tbh. I did the same thing with Tom Ford Neroli Portofino. I love the EDP but bought the Parfum thinking that it was just the same but longer lasting. Its way different. The staff sometimes dont care enough to explain that to you. Resale is the only option. I got a good trade deal out of it.”

4/5“I know Frags are extremely subjective but imo out of the good bunch of decants I have gotten from Tom Ford, the only one's I enjoyed were Ombre Leather and Neroli Portofino. They are very popular though so that should be pretty telling on its own.”

(I have plein sud and might buy sun song for this summer) however those are pricier than neroli portofino on discounters so not really a cheaper alternative x) but Performance wise Neroli plein sud is really a performer on me if that matters, almost too much when the temperatures and humidity are on the high spectrum”
5/5 Summer“i love that pacific chill ended up being the workhorse. sometimes the one you least expect just fits the whole vibe of a trip perfectly and you roll with it neroli portofino by a mediterranean pool is genuinely one of life's great pleasures. no argument there bergamot 22 would've been killer in that heat too. i get the fear about bringing full bottles though, i've had a cap crack in my bag once and the whole suitcase smelled like it for weeks”

I have tried so hard to find something cheaper to replace Neroli Portofino and Bergamote 22, and have had exactly zero luck. I like all of those better than Imagination, though I prefer Afternoon Swim to Arancia di Capri. Love love love Pacific Chill though.”

Summers here are 10 months long, so have a lot of sunscreen perfumes.”
