2/5 LongevityValue“Killing time at the airport I realized I enjoy the EDT the most (I have Parfum). It easily lasted the 8+ hrs on the plane then longer on me. PDM Percival for me is much better, I like the spicy, and it lasts longer than AF Fierce (which I also like). TF oud Minerale is a more mature blue/marine. I didn't like it first time I tried it but giving it another chance I appreciated it more. Imagination is my go to blue (I at least categorize it as blue). I get its over hyped and expensive but you can get affordable large decants and it lasts all day on me.”

5/5 Fresh & cleanUnique“Percival is a great fresh clean scent. It would be the safest blind buy. I have a bottle and love it. I haven't heard of anyone disliking Percival. Castley and Sedley are other good fresh subtle scents but recommend testing them in person or getting a decant. They are both unique but different. Some people have differnt opinions on them.”

Do remember that we all smell things a little different and a lot of scents have molecules that some people can't even smell at all, so you might just be missing some of the depth that greenly has in the dry down. I know I have some scents that someone love that smell simple simple to me but people rave about the depth. Find what works for your nose.”
5/5 Projection“I will say if you want something that is lemony Sedley is the one. it's beast mode on my skin. But it's so please any I can still smell it on me after 8-10 hours. Percival is good too but I just preferably more natural scented fragrance.”
5/5“Was actually considering Bond Scent of Peace to swap for Percival… no where around me carries it so I haven't gotten to smell it in quite awhile so I'm going to order a sample here soon and try it out. Unfortunately I tried Lafayette street a few times and on my skin it just doesn't do it for me. On paper it's wonderful though. Also to be honest, one thing keeping me from wanting to really pull the trigger on the few I love are the bottles. Not the biggest fan.”

Something that's meant to be worn everyday and is mass appealing "fresh" shouldn't need to be niche/that expensive. This is why I have a love hate relationship with Percival and Imagination (imagination might as well be niche for the price)”
4/5 Projection“I like my fragrances to be a bit loud/noticeable. In that regard MPS wins by a huge margin, among the scents that I have. But the quality of Scentdelic is pretty good too. I must tell you that I have only the Refined Razors 1.0, 3.0, 4.0, and some Lyric Man dupe from Scentdelic. And Beau De Jour, Viking, Percival, Bois Du Portugal, 1872, and lovers from MPS.”
2/5 Synthetic / harsh“A lot (most?) shower gels smell synthetic. I've tried this, Fierce, Legend, Legend Blue, Montagne's Percival clone and Percival. This is the harshest among them to my nose. It's also important to understand how longevity is derived. I've personally never had longevity issues with the others, nor do I prioritize longevity, but the reason Kaaf could potentially last longer is because it's more heavily loaded with synthetic musks. That would mean its longevity is derived from exactly the quality I'm criticizing for making its scent harsher and that's not a trade off that interests me.”
4/5 Summer“Can't go wrong with any of them. I find Percival to be very boring, I also go nose blind within an hour. I own Sedley and it's great for high heat, but not enough when it's colder out. Castley is my favorite.”

3/5 Projection“No I'm not but ok. I bought a decant from scent split. Greenly and percival lasted the longest. Sedley was nice you get the cutrus you get the rosemary note but sadly it's a skin scent after like an hour.”
5/5 Fresh & cleanSummer“Sedley or Percival it's as easy as that Sedley is more fresh citrus of the two perfect for summer time/day Percival is fresh blue has a hint of lavender as well I would say Percival is more versatile you could wear it in hot or cold weather in my opinion. I have both and I do prefer Sedley it's just my type of scent but it's very very close between them.”

3/5“Yes I have a bunch of those samples - unfortunately Layton and Herod are the only ones I like - Percival is nice I guess - but it seems Herod and Layton are their biggest sellers and and yet somehow their worst performers - again my post is really to question why they would do that - phase out those scents to make way for new ones? Build a rep and base and then water it down to maximize profits for as long as people continue to buy it before they give up?”

5/5“However, these have to be Luzi or a similar quality because everything I've got there has been amazing ( Imagination, Aventus, Moon Tale, Percival, Pacific Chill, Symphony, Bleu De Chanel) and lasts a good 6-8 hours on skin. Everything I have from them is at the 40% oil concentration.”
