I mean that in a 100% literal way, not a hyperbolic way or an animalic note way. I scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed in that mall bathroom.”

(Still figuring that out..) And, patch. Oof. I wore Mugler's Angel when it first came out, for years - in humid Miami, of all places. Holy beast mode!! But I can't do patch anymore. I don't like it on my skin, clothes, nopenopenope. I'm sure there are more notes that are horrible on me - but it's so subjective! The more I delve and explore perfumery, the more I feel like a complete novice!”

It probably has something to do with body chemistry in addition to the proximity. Makes me sad because I like Angel a lot, just not on me. Maybe I could recruit someone who wears it to just hover around me all day lol.”

Not to mention it pretty much started this category lol. Chanel Coromandel is also a refined take on basically the Angel DNA with a smoother chocolate note at the end. I'd love a full bottle of that.”

I appreciate the fact that the coconut milk stays creamy and not sour on my skin. I'd enjoy smelling this on other people, but it's not one I will buy a larger size of. My mango needs are met by Mugler Angel eau Croisière (2019). I enjoy Miu Miu fragrances as a whole, even when I don't love them for me. Miu Miu Twist edp is one of my favorite designer scents.”

It's a known polarizing fragrance now but it got a lot of positive press in the early aughts and I took a leap and bought it. I don't smell it a lot anymore but always have a visceral reaction when I smell it wafting through a room. There's perfumes with great sillage and then there's Mugler Angel. Like an unwanted guest that won't leave the party. Im sorry! But I'm also not sorry!”

Great over Yara Candy 🍭 & also with Montale's ‘Sweet Vanilla' which is a bit misleading since she is a fruity fragrance before a ‘vanilla' & the most unique one that comes to mind - I have had her for 3 years & so she really won't change too much in the relatively near future but she is a gorgeous greenish- not quite ripe apricot on a sweet vanilla background.”
5/5“I purchased 3.4 oz testers of the entire Thierry Mugler Angel Garden of Stars collection from 2006: La Rose, La Violette, La Pivione and Le Lys. I am so thrilled with these - all have that famous Angel DNA that I love so much, but softened with florals in a beautifully surprising way. Very, very wearable, and performance is…well…vintage Mugler!!”

I recently started getting small samples or 10 versions of other perfumes which seem interesting to me. I think in order to find your signature perfume, you must find one you really, really love. Then use it every day, and enjoy it :)”
