“Don't get me wrong, some Middle Eastern fragrance House is knocked out of the ballpark with their inspirations, Liquid Brun, Pinnace Oryn (imo is a solid Afternoon Swim dupe),Armaf does a great job as well, but most aren't that great.”

“Each to their own but i don't agree with most of what you have said apart from that liquid brun is good, Turathi is not 100 percent BDC epd it has slight differences and I own both and now turathi blue has matured I actually prefer to the Bleu but like with most things on reddit that's just an opinion and absolutely understand if anyone chooses to disagree so please don't get upset that I don't agree with your reviews like a lot of people on Reddit tend to”

2/5 Synthetic / harshUnique

“Yes it often capt the DNA but it's never as nice as the OG (rarely, liquid brun and aether from French avenue are quite near the OG) but others I bought, there's something dirty, or not clear notes, harsh opening like club de nuit.”

4/5 Batches & reformulation

“I tried a tester of French Avenue Liquid Brun at my local normal and I sprayed it on and it made me want to thrown up I am guessing it was 2026 batch so the maceration was probably way off plus I got a little red rash from it that stung a little but was gone the day after. Some ppl say that batch variation and maceration issues are a common thing with Lataffa, Maison Alhambra, French Avenue and fragrance world. Lataffa and Maison being one and the same company Same with French Avenue and Frgrance World. I have heard that Afnan is a good middle Eastern fragrance brand though.”

“Same with liquid brun, I bought it on jomashop for like $25 and figured, if I don't like it i'll just return it and so far I haven't needed to.”

“I have to say, Liquid Brun was the worst name in the history of perfume. This is a slight improvement, but gives me an even runnier vibe. ![gif](giphy|wcUySG1fjlMZxWtIhY)”

“I did smell liquid brun. I think it was “too spicy” for me? I did like it but I even got little dizzy by that “smells like an Arab spice store” note (at least for me it did smell like that) and people around me also said the same. I also did smell like 4 or 5 swy when I bought the powerfully, and didn't like them as much. Though, I really still think if I used liquid brun or any other swy fragrance daily it would be really outstanding (maybe not in the best way) but it's just what I think.”

“liquid brun was my first ever fragrance, i've got to say it has become wild after letting it macerate. it screams emirati gourmand vanilla beast. it is good for evenings, strictly not for hot days. 9pm rebel on the other hand goes for every season, any time. it opens grilled pineapple notes and the dry down is very seductive. loving it. i'd rate liquid brun 7.5 while the rebel gets a solid 8.5”

“I did not purchase perfumes for a good 3 months but then the itch came back and I bought 3 perfumes last month. Liquid Brun, Terra and Vulcan Feu. Now the itch is itching again and I get these noises that my life is incomplete without Bin Sheikh. Should I give in and purchase that and have some peaceful sleep again.”

“Azzure Aoud is sooo good. I have it maturing right now, one month in along with Liquid Brun. Just waiting for the temps to go down a bit so that I can whip them out from next month. I also liked Cocoa Morado from the same release but it already smells close to the cocoa butter I use so skipped it.”

“I have Liquid Brun and Liquid Brun Limited Edition. I will say that on paper the EDP gave me the impression that it would smell amazing on my wife. However, it was very slightly feminine leaning to my nose. The extrait feels a bit more masculine to me”

I mean I tried Lataffa Asad, khamra and french Avenue liquid brun and all of them were absolutely terrible. I absolutely don't trust the influensers hypeing this shit up.”

“I appreciate, same. What do you dislike about Dynasty? It seems interesting on paper. One of my favorite sweet fragrances is Liquid Brun, it feels so high quality that I was left stunned when I smelled it for the first time. I also like the timeless Pi by Givenchy. Lately I've been eager to try French Avenue Amber Empire but the boozy notes scare me a bit. I have a Khalid by Lattafa which is very boozy and I can't find a way to wear it.”

“From my personal experience, it's really good, but Liquid Brun is **wayyy better**. It's creamier, more incense-heavy, and has a much more mysterious vibe. IMO, it simply smells better, lasts longer (**9+ hours on skin and around 2 days on clothes**), and projects really well. I've also received some really nice compliments whenever I've worn it.”
